A full home renovation at the edge of Anchorage, Kentucky that remains in the middle of our hearts. This soup-to-nuts renovation elevated a dilapidated farmhouse in to a warm, contemporary home for a family of five. The build included a boundary-pushing kitchen design, bathroom redesigns, floor refinishing, the creation of a powder room, and reconfiguration of the upstairs. From patina brass pantry doors to textured gold wallpaper, each room showcases an innovative take on materials. The interior design remains true to the original nature of the home. Throughout, Natalie inserted modern and portraiture art amongst vintage finds, such as the prominent hanging church lights. Reupholstered velvets live beside mid-century modern sideboards and custom drapes. Though the aesthetic design is the first moment you’ll experience, the design-build process managed to keep function in mind! A modern, marbled master bathroom, double-sink kids bathroom, and a full laundry room were built. The result is masterful, a golden standard of a warm, dynamic family home.
