Brand Launch for GE Cafe Appliance | New York City
Natalie O Design was honored to be selected by GE to design the model kitchen for the launch of their new Matte Black Cafe appliance line. The Cafe line is intended to be the first “custom” design-forward appliance line, putting customization in finishes at the forefront. Natalie was tasked to push the boundaries of kitchen design. She did this by mixing daring, deep hues alongside natural elements of ceramics, concrete, wood, and earth tones. The model kitchen features modern, dark washed wood cabinets with cut-out tabs instead of hardware for a clean look. The mosaic wall was pieced together in a puzzle-like fashion by Natalie herself, having sourced the handmade tiles from a few states away. As a trusted brand partner by GE, Natalie also designed and sourced products for the many PR events, including an alluring tablescape for a seated dinner.
