Residential Renovation + Addition | Nashville, Tennessee
A soulful interior collaboration with Dryden Architecture in the heart of Nashville, Tennessee, brought this home to life and light. The addition gave way to a modern luxury expanse while letting the natural light pour in. Blending traditional and modern architecture gave this private residential design a west coast interior feel. The natural white oak floors and depth of the walnut kitchen brought together by the bronze hardware and lighting fixtures added a melodic dance with the natural stone, blending tones of earth, sky and sea. The lighting development made an enormous difference at the intersection of the staircase, formal dining, kitchen and family room addition. Art adds pop rocks of color to the homeowners delight. Pieces from Denmark artist Susanne Butcher, and Louisville artist Tony Saladino brought the interior design home with a splash of personality. It wouldn’t be a Music City home without a room filled with guitars and keyboards, the grounding green and terrazzo give way to experiential depth.
